Our Story

Due Mondi began between Milan and Auckland: one Italian family, two homes and a belief that the best food does more than feed us. It brings us back to where we come from and closer to who is around the table now.

We select regional products made by Italian producers and bring them together in dinner experiences that feel generous, simple and real. Depending on availability, products may be sourced through established New Zealand importers and distributors or directly from producers in Italy.

Two countries. One table.

Italy gives us the makers, the ingredients and the regional traditions. New Zealand gives us the home where those traditions are shared with new families, friends and tables.

Each Due Mondi box is built around a real place and a way of eating: carefully selected ingredients, a simple guide and everything needed to make an ordinary evening feel worth remembering. We only describe a product as directly imported by Due Mondi when we have imported it ourselves.
